Wonderfully effective and professional people!

Initially after being injured by a very nasty driver while I was working on the road, I was very down and depressed, since my career requires me to be in peak physical condition, and knowing that I would be out of commission for several months at the start of the busy season, I knew I was facing a tremendous blow to my career. When I first spoke with Chris in his office, it was clear he wasn't just some cold efficient lawyer who just got the job done, he was also your friend, sharing many life interests in common, likes to know his clients on a personal level, wonderful sense of humour, and wholly understands exactly where you're coming from with a vested interest in your success. At the time I had been bullied and pushed around by ICBC for 2 months, and just wanted to get some legal advice, Chris explained to me the ins and outs of how ICBC works against the claimant, and provided very sound advice, immediately easing the stress I was under, even though it wouldn't be the easiest of cases to take on, Chris offered to take the fight to ICBC for me, after careful consideration, I agreed. From that point onward, Chris handled ICBC with experience, deftness and skill that should be the aspiration of any lawyer. Chris and Justyna refused to take any sh** or bullying from ICBC, and try ICBC did, from attempting to deflect my claim to WCB (I had been working at the time of the incident, but the hostile driver who disobeyed traffic laws and hit me was a member of the driving public at the time of the incident, therefore the liability should fall on the driver, not my "employer"), to backtracking from their initial statement that my description of the driver matched the registered owner of the vehicle, to claiming that they couldn't positively identify the driver, and thereby attempting to get the claim nullified. Chris and Justyna would have none of it, after some time ICBC made a mediocre offer and I was (appropriately) advised not to settle, the counter offer was ambitious, though not unreasonable, fast forward a few more months, and a settlement was negotiated that was considerably more than I had initially had in mind when I began the claim, not to mention nearly double ICBC's initial settlement offer. In the end my settlement amount was fair compensation for the impact to my physical health (I am now nearly 100% back to peak physical condition, after nearly 2 years of pain and difficulties), and will go great lengths in offsetting the impact to my career that the incident caused. Bungay Law Office had good reason not to take on my case, but they still took it on and charged full bore into the fray with competence and efficiency, and they achieved results while providing me with good advice along the way. All this on its own would be more than enough for me to recommend Bungay Law Office to anyone seeking fair compensation for unfortunate events in their lives, but additionally, Chris, Justyna, and their office staff are very personable and on your level, which in my opinion is icing on the cake, clinching Bungay Law office as the ONLY law office to handle your case.
